The Michigan
Waterfront Alliance (MWA) is a nonprofit corporation formed to protect,
preserve and promote the wise use of inland waters of the State of
Michigan. This mission will
be accomplished by active participation in the legislative process, court
cases and/or involvement with related agencies or departments.
This membership corporation is closely aligned with the Michigan
Lake and Stream Associations and has the ability to influence legislation
through lobbying (an action not allowed
by the ML&SA, a 501C3 organization).
